Is your business safe and compliant?
Do you own a large or small business?
Are you a tradie or even have a home office??
Part of workplace safety is having safe electrical equipment.
Hundreds of lives are saved annually by ensuring your electrical equipment is safe to use at your work place or job site.
The Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHS Act) requires all employers to provide and maintain a safe working environment for workers, independent contractors and anybody else that comes onto a site. All portable electrical appliances and leads should be tested & tagged on a regular basis, as outlined in the Australian Standards AS/NZS 3760:2010.
If you have a fire due to a portable electrical appliance or lead being faulty and it hasn’t been tested by a qualified person– you may NOT be covered by insurance! Don’t risk it!
All portable electrical appliances and leads once tested are tagged and dated with the next due date or a failure tag.
Safety in your home
Why not protect your loved ones at home by having the appliances in your home checked. There are regulations in place to keep you safe at work but most often it’s the safety at home which is often neglected.
