What is Electrical Testing and Tagging?

Your electrical appliances are tested using specialised equipment to ensure they are safe for your use. After passing testing, a tag is placed on the appliance to show it is compliant with the current Standard AS/NZS 3760:2010.

From a Health and Safety perspective, it is the right of the employee to have a workplace free from risk or harm. The employer, therefore, has an obligation to provide that safe workplace for them. Electrical safety for the end user is but one thing employers must ensure for their employees.

The testing and tagging service is not just for the workplace. Remember, electrocution from faulty appliances can also happen at home.

Pulse Test And Tag comes to your home or workplace, giving you peace of mind by offering the following services:-

• A visual check of appliances and leads.
• Electrical testing of the appliance using state-of-the-art test equipment.
• Both single phase and three phase appliance and lead testing.
• Tagging of the item if it is found to be electrically safe in accordance with

Standard AS/NZS 3760:2010.

• A reporting of all unsafe appliances found.
• Provision of a log of test results, (inventory), of all appliances tested and when next test is due.

• Replacement of appliance/lead plug tops and sockets if found damaged or faulty.
• Residual Current Device (RCD) and safety switch testing.
• Microwave radiation leakage testing.
